The name “ALION” originates from the ancient Greek word Ήλιος,which means “Sun”. The long periods of sunshine in Cyprus offer the produce grown here, a taste and aroma superior to any other. ALION Vegetables & Fruit Co. Ltd was established in 1990 as a packing and exporting company of fresh vegetables, fresh herbs and fruit. Since its inception, the company has achieved the introduction of new products never before produced and exported from Cyprus, increasing exportation volumes to existing and new markets abroad. In 2008 the company grew further and expanded its product range by introducing Ready to Eat Salads to the local market. Through its continuous dedication and commitment, Alion has managed to become the leading name in Cyprus for the global export of fresh herbs and vegetables, thus receiving the Cyprus Export Award For Agricultural Products by the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Tourism seven times.

Today, Alion plays the role of the "parent company," as in 2020, prompted by the pandemic and limited access to goods, the Alion & More website was created. Through Alion & More, we offer our customers the ability to order all their food items online and receive them on the same day, within a few hours. Today, Alion & More has its own application on Google Play and the App Store, covering the entire Cyprus. Our product range is constantly expanding, always focusing on quality and top-notch customer service.
